MARIANNE LALEUF-THOM
ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Marianne is an Associate Attorney at Blackstone Law, representing employees in wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, and harassment matters. Her diverse background includes managing cases from inception to settlement across employment, trust and estate, personal injury, and corporate law. Before joining Blackstone Law, Marianne served as corporate counsel for large companies, working closely with HR to ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, overseeing employment claims, managing insurance programs and contract negotiations, and supervising litigated matters with claims adjusters and outside counsel. Marianne is committed to helping clients navigate the profound impact employment issues can have on their lives.

Marianne earned her B.A. in Cultural Anthropology with highest honors from UC Berkeley, where she was concert mistress of the UC Berkeley Symphony. She received her J.D., cum laude, from California Western School of Law, participated on the trial team, and was a clinical student with the California Innocence Project advocating for individuals with claims of wrongful conviction. Marianne was recognized as a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2022.

Outside of work, Marianne enjoys time with her husband and three daughters, coaching youth soccer, cooking, and playing violin with the Scottsdale Philharmonic as time permits. Marianne speaks fluent French and is continuing to learn Spanish.
