Alexander Lima is a Pre-Litigation Attorney at Blackstone Law, where he focuses on evaluating and developing wage-and-hour claims for individuals across all industries. His practice includes investigating violations of overtime and minimum wage laws, meal and rest period requirements, off-the-clock work, and other workplace protections.
Before joining Blackstone, Alexander was an associate at a respected plaintiff-side class action firm, where he handled pre-litigation evaluation of complex wage-and-hour and consumer claims. He also previously practiced civil litigation representing individuals and businesses in real estate disputes.
Alexander earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2018, where he served on the Executive Board of the Honors Moot Court program and was selected as a regional finalist in the American Bar Association Negotiation Competition. He received his B.A. from the University of California, Riverside in 2014.
A first-generation attorney and son of Latino immigrants, Alexander is passionate about advocating for underrepresented communities and ensuring workers feel heard, respected, and empowered. He is fluent in Spanish and represents Spanish-speaking clients. Outside of work, Alex is a devoted Los Angeles Lakers fan, practices daily mindfulness meditation, and enjoys unwinding by watching the latest episodes of Jeopardy! with his wife.
