Jacob has spent the last 17 years litigating thousands of class and PAGA cases across the west coast. Licensed in both California and Washington States, he has extensive experience in all state and federal courts. Jacob has been named class counsel in many dozens of cases, and has certified many class actions in state and federal courts.
After law school, Jacob clerked for Judge Anthony Mohr, and Judge (now Justice) John Shepard Wiley, Jr., where he worked on many hundreds of class and PAGA cases, including class action trials. This lit the spark that focused his specialization in the class action litigation arena after completing his clerkship. Jacob has successfully prosecuted employees’ claims through class certification in nearly every industry, including but not limited to: retail, food processing, manufacturing, insurance, office management, national restaurant chains, airlines, cellular telephone communication companies, and more. Regardless of the case, court, industry or the opponent, Jacob has the proven experience to successfully prosecute employees’ claims while maximizing value and cutting waste.
When he’s not working, Jacob enjoys making stained glass windows, listening to live music, traveling, and throwing the ball for his dog with his family.
