ANI GARIBYAN

Ani is a CA employment attorney with more than a decade of legal experience. Her practice has focused extensively on employment law, including matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, disability accommodation and leave, wage and hour disputes, and other workplace claims.

Before joining Blackstone Law, Ani spent several years representing employers in employment disputes and litigation. Her defense-side experience gives her a unique perspective in evaluating employees’ claims, including an understanding of how employers and their counsel assess liability, damages, evidence, and litigation risk. Her experience includes conducting workplace investigations and witness interviews, evaluating evidence and damages, and developing litigation and settlement strategies. Ani has also served in an in-house legal and business leadership role, advising executives and human resources professionals on employment and operational matters.

Ani brings that experience to her work at Blackstone, where she focuses on identifying and evaluating potential employment claims. Her approach combines a detailed understanding of CA employment law with practical judgment about the facts, evidence, and circumstances that can ultimately determine the strength and value of a case.

Ani has a longstanding interest in alternative dispute resolution and serves as a volunteer arbitrator with the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Attorney-Client Mediation and Arbitration Services program and has served as a volunteer mediator. Her experience evaluating disputes from multiple perspectives informs her practical and balanced approach to employment matters.

Outside of the office, Ani enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, drinking lots of coffee, and spending time with her rescue dog, Lamb.
