MIA MARTIN

Mia Martin is an intake specialist at Blackstone Law and has dedicated her legal career to supporting employees in the fight for fairness and accountability. With over six years of hands-on litigation and pre-litigation experience, she has played an integral role in preparing cases for trial and settlement across a wide range of employment law matters—including wage and hour violations, FEHA discrimination claims, whistleblower retaliation, and wrongful termination and maintaining direct, compassionate contact with clients throughout the litigation and pre-litigation process.

Ms. Martin’s prior experience includes working at a prominent employment law firm as well as a respected civil-litigation boutique practice, where she provided paralegal and underwriting support in both pre-litigation and litigation phases.

Having started her legal career in immigration law, Ms. Martin brings a broad legal perspective to her role at Blackstone Law. She now focuses exclusively on advocating for employees, driven by a deep commitment to equity and client-centered care.

Ms. Martin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Asian Studies from Loyola Marymount University. She also completed a Creative Writing and Shakespeare program at the University of Oxford and participated in the International Scholars Laureate Program on Diplomacy at the United States Embassy, Beijing. A published journalist and former National Collegiate Public Speaking Champion in poetic interpretation, she is also an accomplished violinist and performs with the LA Lawyers Philharmonic.

Outside of her work, she enjoys being a dog mom while being a part of a large extended family of cat lovers.
